A passion project with purpose
Why I made On Lifting
Lifting has been part of my life since high school. When my kids
started training, I suggested they log their workouts just like
I did. But the apps we tried were filled with ads, lacked
privacy, had cloud-only storage or were overpriced subscriptions
without family sharing. That’s when I decided to build something
better.
About me
I am a solo self-funded developer with low overhead - no big
company or investors here. I am making something I love and use
everyday that respects your privacy. I hope to provide a lot of
value, far greater than what I charge supported by a like minded
audience.
This is just the beginning
It took over a year to build the current version of On Lifting,
but it is only the start. As the primary user, I have a long
roadmap ahead and I am committed to keeping the app affordable,
clean, fast, and privacy focused as it grows.
